Dial-A-Level

Dial-A-Level

This rather unusual 1970's instrument was a find from Excess Solutions, our sole remaining electronics surplus store in the Valley. It is a liquid level meter using a capacitive probe, which also can control a pump or other high power load between set min and max levels. It also has level settings for a low and a high alarm. It was made by Expo Instruments in nearby Sunnyvale, California. It is the brain child of inventor George Rauchwerger, whose patents we used to reverse engineer the unit. We we able to make contact with George, the inventor himself, who gave us the original manual of the unit.
